About The Position

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a J33 Battlewatch Support Team ( Journeyman ) in MacDill AFB, Florida. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role involves providing a 24/7, 365 days per year team that serves as the Command’s central notification and data-source center for both crisis and other significant, non-routine events. The team must maintain the Battlewatch section with 100% compliance, and personnel from other sections may be used to replace Battlewatch vacancies. Responsibilities include preparing and executing routine daily reports documenting the status of current SOCCENT operations, personnel, and SOF laydown. This also involves creating, updating, and disseminating various daily reports such as SITREPs, DEPREPs, consolidated PERSTAT, J3 force laydown brief, OPSUM, Commanders Critical Information Reports (CCIR) notifications, and daily ops primer. The role requires maintaining accurate daily records of all personnel traveling within the AOR, tracking their status on NIPR and SIPR databases, and maintaining a daily key leader location product disseminated to the SOCCENT enterprise. Accurate documentation of initial 5Ws (who, what, when, where, why) reports for events like CCIRs, serious incidents, and disasters is crucial, along with providing responsive information regarding potential victims and coordinating with subordinate commands. Timely incident reports must be submitted to J3, SOCCENT leadership, and as required to CENTCOM/SOCOM. Notification with 100% compliance across various potential events (personal emergencies, physical security, natural disasters, military contingencies) to command leadership is essential. Support is also required for the planning and execution of SOCCENT Continuation of Operations (COOP) training or real-world contingency missions, which may involve prolonged travel to an alternate/contingency command and control location during real-world events, such as hurricane evacuations. Battlewatch Supervisor and Battlewatch Support team members will report location, status, and well-being to the COR during emergency situations like hurricane evacuations or tropical storms, which may involve displacement.
