About The Position

J Street is seeking undergraduate students to participate in its 2026 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Fellowship Program. Successful applicants will coordinate GOTV events and drives on their campus, organize their classmates to register to vote and follow through on voting plans. Fellows will receive hands-on support and training from J Street U staff as they work to foster voter registration and participation on their college campuses. J Street will offer training, and programmatic support.

Requirements

  • Experience with student organizing
  • Experience with or background in voter outreach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective, responsive communicator
  • Strong relational and interpersonal skills
  • Careful attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Organize, plan, and budget nonpartisan voter registration drives/events on your campus
  • Coordinate with local groups engaged in voter outreach either through volunteering or co-sponsoring events
  • Track conversations and data
  • Attend virtual trainings with J Street staff
  • Assist in creating informational voter materials targeted at students
