About The Position

Reproductive Partners Medical Group, Inc., a leading fertility practice in Southern California, is seeking a full-time In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Coordinator for their Torrance/South Bay location. This role is crucial to the team and requires a Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Registered Nurse (RN). The position involves educating patients on treatment protocols, medications, diagnostic procedures, and early pregnancy, as well as recognizing signs of complications. The IVF Coordinator will manage the completion of infertility diagnostic testing, create treatment calendars, document care plans in an EMR system, assist with in-office procedures, administer medications, and perform phlebotomy. Additionally, the role includes pre-operative preparation for surgical procedures like hysteroscopy, D&C, and egg retrievals. The ideal candidate must be a team player, able to communicate effectively with the healthcare team for continuity of care, and provide exceptional patient care through active listening. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have one of the following: Active California RN license, or an active LVN license, or a Medical Assistant Certification
  • Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday with rotation of weekends and holidays as needed
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • New grads welcome! We are very willing to train the right candidate
  • Experience in Women’s Health Care is a bonus but not required.
  • Previous IVF or Women's Health related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients on treatment protocols, medications, diagnostic procedures and early pregnancy.
  • Educate patients for signs and symptoms of complications to procedures and medication.
  • Coordinate the completion of any necessary infertility diagnostic testing and create a treatment calendar to assist patient in following the prescribed protocol.
  • Clearly document plan of care with attention to detail using an EMR system.
  • Assist with in-office procedures, administer medications, and perform phlebotomy.
  • Pre-Op patients for surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy, D & C, and egg retrievals.
  • Be a team player and work effectively and communicate amongst all members of the health care team to provide continuity of care.
  • Provide a patient care experience that exceeds their expectation by actively listening to the patient and taking on the role of providing exceptional patient care.
