About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking an IV Therapy Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, VUMC is a leading institution in patient care, education, and research. The IV Therapy Team nurse applies the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. This role involves effective communication with the healthcare team, collaboration on patient goals, and evaluation of progress. The position encourages professional growth and adherence to Board of Nursing standards. The shift is three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, from 3 AM to 3 PM.

Responsibilities

Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
