The South Carolina Department of Children's Advocacy is seeking a hardworking and dependable candidate to apply. This position will offer great benefits with the state, including 15 days of annual and sick leave per year or more depending on applicable state service. Under direct supervision by the Agency Director or designee, the employee will be responsible for accepting, referring, monitoring, and investigating complaints submitted against various state agencies in an effort to ensure that children under the care of a state agency, particularly children served by the child welfare or juvenile justice systems, receive timely, safe, and effective services and to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of all children receiving services. The employee will be guided by the Agency's intake and investigative policy and procedure and must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with other people and agencies in a respectful and professional manner.
