About The Position

The Itemization Review Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a consistent workflow by distributing claims to auditing teams. This role creates documents, reports, and keeps track of current claim volume on an individual basis to ensure even distribution throughout the department. This is a remote position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy during data entry
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment as a strong collaborator

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience bill in a clinical/medical office environment preferred
Experience with Medical Technology preferred
Professional office experience preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor incoming and existing claims and distribute to auditing teams as instructed by leadership
Maintain and update departmental spreadsheets and team calendars
Generate daily reports as needed for day-to-day team functions
Compile productivity data and distribute to leadership as instructed
Respond and triage email requests from other teams promptly
Identify and document process improvements for team efficiency
Identify and relay challenges to leadership quickly
Attend meetings to take notes and distribute as needed
Responsible for tracking and providing trends of team stats as needed by leadership
Promote a positive team environment
Participate in collaborative projects with other teams and groups
Promptly respond to additional leadership requests
Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communication
Additional duties as assigned
