ITAD Operators are responsible for the identification, sorting, reconciliation, and de-manufacturing of IT assets in alignment with Sprout’s operational and environmental standards. With increasing responsibilities and technical proficiency, ITAD Operators advance through Levels 1 to 4 based on experience and demonstrated skills.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of ITAD or reverse logistics experience and proven expertise in Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of ITAD processes and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership experience and ability to manage special projects independently.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous exposure to Lean at levels 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

  • Product Identification: Recognize and categorize IT assets and consumer electronics.
  • Material Handling: Safely transport materials across the site.
  • Organizing Stock: Keep workstations and stock areas organized.
  • De-Manufacturing: Disassemble IT assets into constituent parts for recycling or disposal.
  • Adherence to Operational Procedures.
  • Safety and Security Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and data security procedures (R2v3, ISO 27001).
  • Mastery of data sanitization. Committed to a policy of 0 data escapes.
  • Mastery of all diagnostic tools.
  • Capable of performing audits related to process, compliance, and inventory control.
  • Utilize Lean methodologies to drive process improvements.
  • Train and mentor operators at all levels and back up the Team Lead in day-to-day operations.
