About The Position

At CareRx, we are shaping the future of senior care through pharmacy services that make a real difference. The IT Support Technician at our Richmond Hill location will play a vital role in supporting the Field Services team by assisting with IT hardware and software tasks, repairing laptops and devices, preparing and shipping equipment, coordinating remote troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is an on-site position with no travel or on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills across IT hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Proven ability to repair and maintain computers, laptops, and minor ARxIUM components.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Self-directed, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ticketing systems, and inventory management tools.
  • Adaptable, motivated, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to quality work and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Field Services Technicians with IT hardware, software, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Image, configure, and prepare new hardware for deployment or shipment to client facilities.
  • Provide phone-based technical support to facilities or internal teams as needed.
  • Manage ordering, tracking, and returning of IT parts, accessories, and hardware, ensuring accurate inventory records.
  • Recover, assess, and recondition returned hardware for future use.
  • Perform minor repairs on IT systems and ARxIUM cabinet components  (office-only, no on-site ARxIUM work).
  • Test repaired or pre-configured systems to ensure full functionality before deployment.
  • Document all work, update service tickets, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including storage and inventory areas.
  • Pre-stage IT equipment for deployment, as requested.
  • Support miscellaneous administrative or IT-related tasks as required.
