As an IT Vendor Relationship Specialist within the Agency of Digital Services, you will be instrumental in managing and strengthening our relationships with technology vendors. Your role will ensure that our vendor partnerships support our strategic objectives and deliver maximum value to the state and its residents. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors to ensure alignment with the department's objectives and strategic goals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the state.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and evaluate potential vendors to meet those needs.
- Conduct regular vendor reviews and assessments to ensure optimal performance and value delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related inquiries and communications.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between vendors and internal teams.
