About The Position

The IT Vendor Relationship Specialist will be responsible for managing the relationship with the organization's outsourced IT services provider. This role ensures alignment between vendor performance and organizational goals, maintains service quality, and addresses challenges in outsourcing operations. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize vendor performance and achieve operational excellence in accordance with the terms and conditions of the managed services agreement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
5+ years in vendor management, IT service management, or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare IT environment
5+ years using service management software - ServiceNow
5+ years of contract and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management
Strong knowledge of IT outsourcing and offshore/nearshore models
SLA performance analysis (targets, minimums, credits, etc.)
Full cycle contract and obligation management
Contract risk and financial management
Supplier performance management and relationship management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Familiarity with IT governance, service management, and architecture frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Innovation and automation management
Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry
Proficiency with vendor management tools and systems
