About The Position

Maintains Hospital specialist areas in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition. Utilizes germicidal cleaning agents to ensure sanitary environment. Job Responsibility Maintains specialized areas in Medical Center (i.e Operating Rooms, Labor and Delivery Room and Bone Marrow Unit) in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition. Cleans and sanitizes sinks, scales, bassinets, sterilizers, medication carts, window ledges and sills, etc with germicidal cleaning agent. Washes walls, ceiling, floors, counters, mattresses and beds, and other assigned equipment with a germicidal cleaning agent. Removes refuse and carries to designated areas. Operates floor maintenance equipment; e.g automatic and manual floor machines, wet vacs, etc. Receives, maintains, and stores cleaning equipment and supplies in a sanitary condition.Distributes supplies and equipment, as required. Records daily activities on checklist. Performs related duties, as required. ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Minimum of six (6) months experience, required Ability to operate common housecleaning devices, such as, waxing and buffing machines, brooms, mops, etc. Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions. Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
