About The Position

Piper Companies is looking for an IT Contract Negotiations Manager to join a healthcare company located in Columbia, Maryland.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
7+ years of experience in contract/vendor negotiations or cost management, focused on client-side operations.
Strong understanding of financial analysis and negotiation techniques.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and favorable contract terms.
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Lead client-side contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and secure optimal terms.
Analyze vendor proposals, contracts, and pricing models to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
Develop and implement negotiation strategies tailored to client needs and organizational objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Establish strong relationships with vendors and clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
Monitor and evaluate contract performance, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for renegotiation or improvement.
Provide insights and training to internal teams on negotiation best practices and cost-saving strategies.
Stay updated on market trends, industry benchmarks, and legal developments impacting contract negotiations.
