The IT Vendor/Contract Manager is a technology experienced professional who will manage complex agreements, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and keep contracting work moving from initial submission through final signature. This role understands technology contract structures and terminology, while recognizing that TASB's Corporate Counsel is responsible for reviewing and redlining legal terms. The day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating technology contracts with various stakeholders, negotiating pricing and business terms, reviewing agreements for various considerations, coordinating legal review with Corporate Counsel, managing contract entry and tracking, monitoring expirations and renewals, reporting to IT leadership, and confirming financial obligations are included in budgets. The impact of this role includes managing the contract review and approval process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, identifying and escalating issues, tracking revisions and vendor responses, reporting cost savings, implementing best practices, and building vendor relationships.
