This is a PRN position (on-call as needed only) Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned) Helpdesk support, monitor support tickets. Install, modify, and make minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical advice and support to system users. Ensure issue resolutions and training is documented per department requirements. Phone system support, video conferencing setup, and Printer/copier/fax/scanner monitoring. Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on users’ premises. Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements. Coordinate activities with network services and information system groups. Refer major hardware problems to service personnel for correction. Administer e-mail and anti-virus systems. Knowledge of or skill with the equipment, systems, theory, and protocols of computer information networks Knowledge of VPNs, Firewalls, Cybersecurity, Software Management for large groups of computers running on diverse operating systems.
