About The Position

i-80 Gold Corp is seeking an IT Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair hardware and software components to support smooth IT operations. The role maintains and monitors network systems and IP-based devices on the i-80 Gold network to ensure reliability, integrity, and availability. The IT Technician provides first-level support across the i-80 Gold user and network environment and reports directly to the Director of IT. The position is based in Reno, Nevada, and requires some travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
• At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft operating system support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb stairwells and work on elevated platforms, walk on uneven ground, and lift and potentially carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to periodically work in adverse weather conditions and underground environments, and to sit for extended periods.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
