About The Position

Treyarch is looking for a talented new IT Technician to join our team! This listing is for a 100% on-site job located in Vancouver, BC. Primary responsibilities will be end user support. This includes software and hardware support (install/troubleshooting), imaging PCs along with other surrounding aspects of desktop support. You will need to be able to address, diagnose and resolve problems quickly and efficiently in a high-paced, studio environment. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently with a wide variety of teams and users. This is a contingent worker position for a 12 month duration and will be staffed through Volt, a staffing and workforce management company.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience of providing IT support
  • Familiarity with video game consoles
  • Knowledgeable in PC hardware and Windows environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting
  • Proficient understanding of networking

Nice To Haves

  • Previous video game studio experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the end user whether remote or on-site via slack, email or in person
  • Active Directory management and support
  • Workstation provisioning for new and existing users (Imaging, software, and hardware deployment)
  • Address remote and on-site hardware issues (printers, shared PCs, and video game consoles)
  • Assist with any software deployment and address any issues that may arise (Common software are Office 365, Zoom, Slack, Autodesk, and Adobe CC products)
  • Assist with IT assets and inventory management
  • Friendly demeanor and friendly communicative skills
  • Support and contributions on any IT related projects

  • The standard base pay range for this role is $63,700.00 - $134,600.00 CAD. These values reflect the expected annualized base pay range of new hires in British Columbia, Canada. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
