About The Position

Idaho Power is looking for an IT Technical Systems Analyst – Entry, Analyst, or Senior to join our Information Technology team. This role plays a critical role in communities served across Idaho and Oregon, focusing on safely providing customers with reliable and affordable energy. The position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, offering flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely per week. A Technical Systems Analyst works on domain-specific solutions/applications with moderate supervision, focusing on solution assessment and validation; requirements elicitation, analysis, management, and communication; solution design and documentation; end-user support; troubleshooting and issue resolution; development and maintenance of basic reports and queries; and basic system configuration. This role has multiple levels available: Entry, Analyst, and Senior.

  • Entry IT Technical Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field OR An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications; N/A experience
  • IT Technical Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field OR An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications; 2 or more years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 1 year business analyst experience
  • Senior IT Technical Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field OR An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications; 5 or more years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 3 years business analyst experience
