IT Systems & Network Administrator
About The Position
We are looking for a proactive, service-oriented IT professional to maintain and grow our technology infrastructure. At our company, our employees are our clients. You will be the "boots on the ground" for our Albuquerque headquarters, ensuring that our field technicians and office staff have the tools they need to succeed. This role is a unique hybrid of mobile device management, desktop support, and junior network administration. You will work closely with our off-site senior administrator, receiving direct mentorship and training to eventually take over full management of our Microsoft 365 and network environments.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows 11 Pro and iOS.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM platforms.
- Basic understanding of Entra ID (Azure AD) and user permissions (IAM).
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi APs, basic switch configurations, and Layer 1 (physical) troubleshooting.
- Comfortable navigating SaaS platforms.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the patience to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A "Helper" Mentality, being available, efficient, and empathetic to user needs.
- Resourcefulness and comfort researching solutions before escalating.
- Pride in maintaining clean hardware inventories, network diagrams, and "how-to" guides.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with macOS (specifically for Apple Configurator).
- Experience with ServiceTitan.
Responsibilities
- Provide "white-glove" technical support to our office and field staff, minimizing downtime and resolving issues with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Own the full lifecycle of our iOS fleet using Intune and Apple Business Manager to deploy, secure, and manage iPhones/iPads.
- Manage the Verizon Business Portal for line activations and upgrades, performing regular audits to control costs and ensure data plan efficiency.
- Set up and maintain Windows 11 Pro devices, ensuring all systems are properly Entra ID (Azure AD) joined and compliant with company security standards.
- Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert for ServiceTitan, assisting users with login issues, workflow troubleshooting, and mobile app sync errors.
- Perform hands-on networking tasks including physical installation of firewalls, switches, and access points, and act as "remote hands" for our off-site network resource for cable runs and testing.
- Commit to continuous improvement by spending 10% of your week in training sessions with our off-site admin to master advanced M365 and networking.
