Requirements

  • HS Diploma
  • 2 or more years' experience in desktop support

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years' experience with Active Directory
  • 2 or more years' experience with ticketing system platforms(i.e. ServiceNow, etc...)
  • 2 or more years' experience supporting network infrastructure and facility-based IT systems
  • Current or prior Labcorp experience
  • Familiarity with Meraki camera systems and conference room technologies.
  • Good communication skills and a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for onsite and remote users, assisting with hardware, software, email, mobile device, and network connectivity issues.
  • Respond to, document, and manage support tickets, escalating complex issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams when necessary.
  • Support users at the Raritan facility and remote locations through in-person, phone, and remote assistance.
  • Set up, deploy, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, docking stations, and other end-user equipment.
  • Assist with the setup and basic support of conference rooms, audiovisual equipment, televisions, and telecommunications devices.
  • Provide walk-up support and resolve common IT issues in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding by preparing hardware, installing software, and setting up user accounts and system access.
  • Perform routine hardware replacements, upgrades, and equipment refresh activities.
  • Support software installations, updates, and company-wide technology rollout initiatives.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, patching, and support for MDF and IDF equipment under guidance from senior IT staff.
  • Monitor and support UPS devices and other IT infrastructure equipment as assigned.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding IT equipment repairs, installations, and service requests.
  • Provide technical support for company meetings, Town Halls, and special events to ensure equipment functions properly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for IT hardware and software assets.
  • Follow IT security policies and procedures while helping users maintain compliance with company standards.
