About The Position

As the Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the reliability, security, performance, and operational support of core infrastructure services including Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Microsoft 365, Azure infrastructure, monitoring, backup, and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting Microsoft Windows in an enterprise environment.
  • Experienced with automating solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, Technical Certifications, or equivalent working experience
  • 5+ years supporting an enterprise environment
  • 3+ years managing Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager. Experience should include creating security, device compliance.
  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft Windows in an enterprise environment to include patching and vulnerability management
  • 3+ years automating solutions to remediate Windows vulnerabilities
  • 3+ years PowerShell scripting and automation

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure IaaS resources including virtual machines, virtual networks, network security groups, load balancers, storage accounts, and related services.
  • Support Azure monitoring, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, and governance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Backup, Azure Policy, RBAC, and tagging standards.
  • Assist with Azure migration, modernization, and hybrid infrastructure initiatives, including support for Azure Arc and private connectivity where applicable.
  • Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, OUs, Group Policy, authentication services, and directory synchronization dependencies.
  • Support MFA, Conditional Access, role-based access control, privileged access, and identity-related security controls.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, access, Kerberos, DNS, and directory-related issues across cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Deploy, patch, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, storage environments, network infrastructure, etc
  • Administer DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, certificate services, file services, and other core infrastructure services.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, standard operating procedures, diagrams, and configuration records.
  • Administer VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, virtual machines, resource utilization, performance, and availability.
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
