About The Position

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, analysis, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems, infrastructure, and business technologies. This position provides advanced technical expertise to support business operations through the deployment, maintenance, integration, and optimization of information technology solutions. Working under the guidance of IT management and the IT Systems Lead, the IT Systems Analyst analyzes business and technical requirements, serves as a primary technical resource for assigned enterprise systems or technology domains, implements technology solutions, and resolves complex technical issues that exceed standard support procedures. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT personnel to deliver secure, reliable, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions while supporting organizational goals and compliance requirements. This position serves as a senior technical resource within the IT department but does not have direct supervisory responsibility or independent responsibility for establishing enterprise technical standards or strategic technology direction.

Requirements

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; equivalent combinations of education, technical training, certifications, and progressively responsible experience may be considered.
Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration, systems analysis, enterprise infrastructure, or related technical roles.
Demonstrated experience administering and supporting enterprise Microsoft technologies.
Demonstrated experience with enterprise infrastructure projects, systems implementations, integrations, migrations, or other complex technical assignments.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure, systems, networking, cloud, or enterprise application issues.
Ability to independently manage advanced technical assignments and assigned systems with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business or technical requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and enterprise Microsoft technologies.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking, virtualization, cloud computing, identity management, endpoint management, backup/disaster recovery, and related infrastructure technologies.
Demonstrated ability to independently administer assigned enterprise systems or technical domains.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience performing advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, assess alternatives, and translate requirements into effective technical solutions within established enterprise standards.
Strong implementation and project-coordination skills with the ability to own assigned technical workstreams or significant technical assignments.
Ability to develop and maintain technical automation, documentation, implementation procedures, and operational standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to IT Support Specialists and other IT personnel without direct supervisory authority.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the IT Systems Lead, IT management, business stakeholders, vendors, and other members of the IT team.
Strong commitment to documentation, continuous improvement, cybersecurity, system reliability, and customer service.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
Ability to frequently use computers and other standard office and technical equipment.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, kneel, or work in server rooms, equipment areas, or beneath desks when installing or servicing equipment.
Ability to travel between company locations as required to support enterprise systems, implementations, and technical needs.

Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, regulated, or other complex business environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary administrator or technical resource for assigned enterprise systems, platforms, infrastructure technologies, or technical domains, supporting their availability, performance, reliability, security, integration, and lifecycle management.
Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems; Microsoft 365; Microsoft Entra; Active Directory; Exchange Online; Intune; Group Policy; virtualization platforms; cloud services; enterprise storage; backup and disaster-recovery solutions; and other assigned enterprise technologies.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking technologies and services, including switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, wireless infrastructure, and related network services.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions, configurations, implementation approaches, or system improvements within established enterprise technology standards.
Lead assigned technical workstreams, system implementations, or significant technical assignments associated with infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, application deployments, integrations, system modernization, and other enterprise technology initiatives.
Develop technical implementation plans, deployment procedures, testing documentation, rollback strategies, configuration documentation, and other materials necessary to support successful technology changes; coordinate technical activities with vendors, consultants, business units, and internal IT personnel.
Serve as an advanced escalation resource for complex server, networking, cloud, application, infrastructure, and systems issues; perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with the IT Systems Lead and IT management on critical incidents or enterprise-wide outages.
Develop, maintain, and improve automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, or other approved technologies; identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, reliability, and scalability through scripting, automation, and process standardization.
Evaluate new technologies and technical approaches, analyze potential impacts and benefits, and provide technical recommendations to the IT Systems Lead and IT management.
Support implementation and maintenance of enterprise cybersecurity controls and established technical standards; participate in vulnerability remediation, security assessments, disaster-recovery testing, backup validation, compliance activities, and other technology-control initiatives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, implementation guides, standard operating procedures, technical changes, and other knowledge-management resources; ensure assigned systems and implementations are appropriately documented.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, implementation partners, service providers, and internal IT personnel while providing technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and advanced troubleshooting support to IT Support Specialists and other team members.
