About The Position
We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and performance while supporting day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of IT systems administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of IT systems administration experience
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, and virtualization
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems and IT infrastructure in manufacturing
- Experience with backups, disaster recovery, and system monitoring tools
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems
- Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain system security, backups, and disaster recovery processes
- Support implementation of new systems and upgrades
- Collaborate with internal teams to support IT needs
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies
