Credence has an immediate need for an IT System Administrator at the journeyman level supporting our Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence Directorate (A2) program out of Langley AFB, VA. This position will be supporting A21. The role involves providing life-cycle maintenance, logistics, and mission-critical technical support for fielded C2/C4I assets operating on NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and other military networks. The IT System Administrator will support a wide range of equipment including workstations, laptops, monitors, printers, network infrastructure, servers, SIPR and JWICS VTC systems, SAN/NAS platforms, and mobile devices across nine ACC A2 work centers. Responsibilities include performing preventive and remedial maintenance, managing spare parts inventory, tracking warranties, handling asset shipping and receiving, installing/de-installing/upgrading hardware and software, and creating/updating documentation for secure work centers. The role also involves change control, configuration management, coordinating changes with various communication and network entities, documenting best practices, and providing training on C4I hardware maintenance. Additionally, the position requires performing checklist-based system administration duties, basic network administration, assisting with inventories, managing internal network devices, troubleshooting IP-based networks, operating NSA-approved network encryption devices, administering Windows- and Unix-based servers and workstations, supporting mission applications, maintaining system audit logs, and performing system backups and basic database maintenance. The IT System Administrator will also implement IA policies and procedures, manage trouble tickets, handle OEM software support, serve as the point of contact for VTC systems, and lead/manage directorate Information Technology Equipment Custodians (ITECs).
