About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Stevens Transport is looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Technology team. You will serve as a point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via the phone, chat, email, or the helpdesk ticketing system. The ideal candidate will exhibit effective communication skills, be team-oriented and highly motivated. Strong computer skills and the ability to diagnose, report and resolve hardware and software issues is necessary. JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Responsibilities Point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance Computer, printer, and phone setups Software installs and configurations Inventory control and asset management Diagnosing system errors and network issues Running reports as needed Event/resolution logging Providing accurate information related to supported products and services

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Related work experience in an IT environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Project management
  • Familiarity with VPN, endpoint protection and remote access
  • Working knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • 2+ years of help desk support experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
