About The Position
The Part-Time IT Support Technician is responsible for troubleshooting computer issues and responding to IT questions from company employees. The IT Support Technician will report to the Vice President of Information Technology. This is a part-time role with hours from Monday-Friday 4am-9am. The position is fully remote after initial training in the office in Tempe, AZ, and requires the candidate to reside in the greater Phoenix area.
Requirements
- Minimum of Two years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must reside in greater Phoenix area.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists computer operators with technical problems as needed.
- Identifies common causes of trouble such as loose connections or defective components.
- Reviews manufacturers specifications on connections and methods to locate problems.
- Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
- Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
- Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
