The IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing computer systems, hardware and peripherals. This role involves using remote diagnostic and maintenance tools, maintaining records of support activities, and assisting with the deployment, installation, and operation of automated data processing and telecommunications systems. The technician will provide technical support for computer problems, perform installations of software, virus patches, upgrades, and other daily maintenance procedures. Additionally, they will provide basic hands-on system tech support, system maintenance, and support for servers including Windows servers, SQL databases, Internet web servers, and associated applications. The role also includes assisting with basic day-to-day system administration tasks and general troubleshooting on network systems, while maintaining data files and monitoring system configuration for data integrity. The position requires adherence to prescribed casino internal control policies and practices.
