Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Brief Summary of Duties Receive incoming shipments, erase client data using SecureTrack, perform reset procedures to remove client data from IT equipment, clean and audit IT equipment, remove asset tags and other stickers, install Windows, install OS onto enterprise equipment, and prepare equipment for redeployment. Enter details of computer assets into database including, but not limited to shipping details, make and model, serial number, hardware specs, condition of hardware, SecureTrack details, and post configuration details. Identify functional condition of server, networking, and pc hardware through bench testing. Deploying Windows using Windows Deployment Services Basic PC troubleshooting and repair skills. Ensure all customer data has been removed from IT equipment. Upgrade IT Equipment to meet customer requirements including hardware and software. Communicate with customers order status, upgrades, and any other questions that might occur. Test, sort, pack, or unpack IT equipment. Meet minimum production requirements after a training period Assist other departments in the St. Peters warehouse as needed, which can include assisting shipping and audit departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Hands on IT experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical hardware and/or software issues.
  • Able to quickly adapt to new policies and procedures regarding client specific needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Basic computer skills with ability to type at least 40 WPM and perform frequent data entry.
  • Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Install and rebuild user computers, including hardware, peripherals, and system configurations, in accordance with IT policies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Server+, Microsoft MCP/MCSE).
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS and typical end-user hardware and software, including imaging.
  • At Least 6 months experience as an EPC Technician with familiarity to efficiently use the Iinvision Inventory Software.
