IT Support Technician Intern (Year-Round)

About The Position
Gain hands-on experience providing technical support by setting up new computers, configuring handheld scanners and printers, and resolving employee technology issues through our ticketing system. This is a year-round internship program designed to provide meaningful projects, mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. The program includes signature experiences like Charter's Intern Kickoff Day, volunteer opportunities, professional development workshops, and the Intern Summer Showcase.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
- End-user IT support: software installation, hardware set-up and delivery within our ticketing system.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
- Document and improve processes.
