About The Position

The IT Support Specialist is a member of the Corporate Information Systems & Technology team and serves as the primary on-site technical resource for an assigned facility. While physically located at a plant, this position supports enterprise technology standards and provides hands-on assistance for infrastructure, end-user computing, and business applications across all company locations. Working closely with Infrastructure, Security, Business Applications, and other IT Support Specialists, this role acts as the local extension of Corporate IT while delivering responsive, high-quality support to employees throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and business applications.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between company locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in office and manufacturing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, and peripheral support.
  • Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, network connectivity, VPN, and business application issues.
  • Serve as the primary IT resource for the assigned facility while assisting users across all company locations.
  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts, security groups, and Microsoft 365 resources.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Perform first-level application troubleshooting, gather logs, document issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory, equipment assignments, and technical documentation.
  • Travel to regional sites for hardware deployments, upgrades, and project support.
  • Follow security policies, identify potential risks, and assist with compliance and audit activities.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Business Applications teams to deliver reliable IT services.
