About The Position

Airgas is seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist to maintain a variety of technology systems and equipment in Coppell, TX. This role is crucial for providing second and third-tier suppot to rend-users and assisting tier one technicians within a Help Desk environment. The specialist will deliver immediate solutions, provide user feedback, and collaborate with IT staff to address recurring technology issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience
minimum of 2 years working with SAP
1 year in a Technology support role
1 year working with Google G-Suite
Strong experience and working knowledge of current Windows Operating Systems and experience supporting a Citrix thin client environment
Must possess excellent personal computer and customer service skills, along with strong problem-solving, change management, and both written and oral communication abilities

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience supporting RF technology is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Technical Support & Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of computer hardware (PCs, Thin Clients, RF Devices, etc.) and software, including resolving hardware and software conflicts.
End-User Training & Consultation: Instruct and provide technical assistance and training to end-users on computer equipment, operating systems, and approved applications.
Infrastructure & Peripherals: Provide technical support on LAN equipment (requiring engagement with Network/Telecom teams) and support shared network devices like printers, copiers, and scanners.
Operational Excellence : Maintain all support requests and work orders in the helpdesk ticketing system and provide technical support and consultation for various IT projects and initiatives.
