About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and ensuring that our systems and equipment are functioning properly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
  • Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls and antivirus software
  • Conduct regular backups and ensure data integrity
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Train staff on new systems and software as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement new systems and processes
  • Maintain inventory of all hardware and software and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of any technical issues
  • Provide after-hours support as needed
