About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at VigorCare Pediatric Services. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2+ years of experience in IT support or related role
Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+ are a plus

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network related issues
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software
Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, including backups and security
Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability
Train employees on new software and hardware systems
Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure consistent and efficient support services
Maintain inventory of all equipment and software licenses
Document technical processes and procedures
