About The Position

We're hiring an IT Support Specialist at JD Machine Corp. in Ogden, Utah! This is a great opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level IT professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting people, and working hands-on in a real manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll support our IT Manager and Systems Administrator by helping with day-to-day IT requests, troubleshooting, documentation, equipment setup, user access issues, and task overflow. Your work will help keep our team moving while giving our senior IT staff more time to focus on infrastructure and strategic projects. The ideal candidate does not need to be the administrator or architect of every system listed above, but should have a solid working knowledge of how these areas connect and be able to troubleshoot confidently. Compensation will depend on experience and level of autonomy, from someone who can identify and recommend solutions to someone who can confidently apply changes with minimal guidance. This is a primarily on-site position, with more than 90% of work performed at our Ogden facility. Occasional on-call or after-hours support may be required. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who communicates well with non-technical team members, enjoys helping people, and is ready to grow with a strong IT team in a stable, people-focused company.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on IT experience
  • Comfortable working across a broad range of systems
  • Active Directory and Group Policy basics
  • RBAC troubleshooting and user access support
  • Windows environments, both cloud and on-prem
  • Basic Linux familiarity
  • PowerShell or scripting for queries and automation
  • Scheduled tasks/cron jobs
