Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or relevant experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on desktop support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows and desktop troubleshooting.
  • Experience with user administration in an Active Directory environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage time effectively and solve problems with a root cause mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day technical support for desktop systems, software, hardware and IT infrastructure.
  • Answering, evaluating and prioritising requests from users experiencing issues with hardware, software, networking, telecommunications and audiovisual technology.
  • Installing, configuring, diagnosing and troubleshooting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and related software.
  • Leading onsite IT hardware logistics and depot operations, including intake, storage, redeployment and returns.
  • Maintaining accurate IT asset inventory information within ServiceNow.
  • Documenting work, updating tickets, assigning resolving groups and assisting with warranty repair coordination.
  • Supporting remote connectivity solutions and resolving access issues.
  • Performing basic printer and copier maintenance.
  • Assisting with onsite audiovisual and video conferencing setup.
  • Acting as onsite hands and eyes for network, server and environmental teams when needed.
