About The Position

Learn about the cattle feeding business and information technology through an internship on the IT Technical Support Help Desk. With a strong customer service mindset and a can-do attitude, youll triage and resolve issues or route them to the appropriate internal teams. When not handling support requests, youll perform other support-related tasks, including documentation and more. Youll gain business insight and learn what its like to work in the IT department of the worlds largest cattle feeding company.

Requirements

  • Customer service-focused with a friendly, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
  • Analytical mind that enjoys troubleshooting problems and working toward solutions
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Reliable, dependable and punctual

Nice To Haves

  • Potential interest in an IT career
  • Currently pursuing or planning advanced education in IT
  • Basic user knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and related applications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact for submitted technical support issues
  • Triage issues including basic hardware, software, access, and connectivity problems
  • Resolve or route and escalate issues to the appropriate teams with follow up
  • Deliver courteous, professional, and timely customer service to all users
  • Accurately document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Communicate clearly with users on issue status, expectations, and next steps
  • Complete documentation and other support-related tasks as directed by manager
