To learn more about Trillium, visit www.trlm.com The Role Trillium is seeking a motivated, energetic, and technology-focused IT Support Intern to join our Systems and Support team. This role is designed for an aspiring IT professional eager to gain hands-on experience managing enterprise systems and supporting users in a fast-paced environment. This internship offers significant exposure to real-world infrastructure operations and has strong potential to evolve into a full-time position for a candidate who demonstrates technical growth and cultural fit.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in Information Technology and Systems Administration.
  • A "no task too small" attitude with a high degree of initiative.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, PC components, and Windows OS.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, user-first attitude.
  • Ability to lift and move workstations and IT equipment (up to 40 lbs) as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Foundational exposure to Active Directory, Entra ID, or Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira or any ticketing system
  • Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a related IT or Computer Science program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with moving, setting up, and deploying workstations, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Build, image, and configure Windows workstations using modern deployment tools.
  • Provide day-to-day technical troubleshooting (Level 1) for local and remote staff.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware prep and account provisioning.
  • Assist with tasks in Active Directory (User groups/permissions) and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Maintain accurate, clear documentation of IT procedures and hardware inventory.
  • Troubleshoot office equipment, including printers and A/V conferencing tools.
