Summary To fulfill a project or engage CCNW job functions which support the Intern’s educational requirements during a temporary period of employment. Supports and adheres to the Cancer Care Northwest (CCNW) Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree with an affinity for Information Technology
  • Hands on knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications required
  • Completed some college level coursework
  • Or equivalent experience and or certification

Nice To Haves

  • Taken a medical terminology course
  • Previous experience in a medical clinic

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned new hire orientation requirements.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect all patients and the organization.
  • Follows policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency and compliance requirements of the assigned Department and the organization.
  • Communicates timely with assigned supervisor or trainer regarding job duty questions and quality improvement suggestions.
  • Immediately reports any employee or patient safety concerns to the assigned supervisor or the Human Resources Officer.
  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
