About The Position

The Ōnin Group in Nashville, TN is seeking a personable and technically inclined IT Support Agent to become a vital part of our dynamic IT/Support Team. As an IT Support Agent, you'll directly impact the success of our growing staffing company by providing exceptional customer service and support to our internal employees (Oninites) in areas such as user support, system administration, operational process assistance, and technology troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service background and a general aptitude for technology, regardless of formal IT training.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor and the ability to excel in providing genuine, customer-focused support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse group of individuals, including internal teams, field employees, and potentially clients.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and a natural curiosity to understand and resolve issues effectively.
  • General computer proficiency and an interest in leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
  • A detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage data accurately.
  • A proactive attitude and the willingness to take initiative in supporting both IT and operational functions.
  • Flexibility to work in our Nashville office (2030 Lindell Ave.) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call hours and the potential for overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Google applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Providing outstanding support and service to internal employees (Oninites), external employees (Teammates), and clients.
  • Responding to and resolving employee inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, and our ticketing system (Zendesk).
  • Executing user administration tasks, including onboarding and offboarding procedures, and managing inventory.
  • Providing support to internal staff for time management, payroll processes, onboarding procedures, and employee tracking systems.
  • Identifying, documenting, and communicating employee needs and feedback to internal teams to drive improvements in our technology, systems, and processes.
  • Contributing to various projects aimed at enhancing the day-to-day IT and operational efficiency of the company.
  • Traveling, as needed, to provide in person branch training or support to our field Oninites
