About The Position

The MES Operations Lead role will lead an international team of technical resources to be responsible for working with users and IT resources to support standardized Camstar/PAC MES solutions across a global environment.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field or additional experience my be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 3 years Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) experience
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership and project management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in application development
  • Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team
  • Ability to work closely with internal customers around the world to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to work individually and on teams to execute projects on time, on budget, and with expected results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong initiative
  • Self-motivated
  • Accountable for actions/behaviors

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a distributed, mixed team of contractors and permanent employees
  • Manage Incidents and service requests
  • Lead rapid response activities
  • Maintain operation process and incident response documentation
  • Develop standard operating documents and knowledge base articles
  • Coordinate incident escalation
  • Provide continual improvements and definitions
  • Data Archive Monitoring
  • Metric development, tracking, and reporting
  • Oversight of 24x7 support and response
  • Identification and response to system/solution issues
  • Perform environment maintenance and related customer communications
  • System monitoring and recovery
  • Perform routine operational monitoring
  • Monitor server performance and initiate action when appropriate
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Perform deployments and migrations facilitation
  • Maintain the development environment
  • Operations meetings
  • End user customers
  • Monthly operations status updates with key stakeholders
