About The Position

As an IT Summer Intern for Software Development, you will gain hands-on experience while working closely with department representatives in a structured learning program. In this role, you will join a development team on the Foundry platform, contributing to work streams, participating in Agile ceremonies, and writing code to develop new features and fix bugs. Additionally, you will assist with various projects and administrative tasks, gaining exposure to key financial processes and operations while building practical software development skills. A caregiver in this role works remotely in NE, OH, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., mid-May through mid-August, with flexible start and end times. This position will require on-site attendance at CCAC once per week.

Requirements

  • Current college enrollment
  • Ability to discuss and weigh pros and cons and separate critical issues
  • Ability to make definitive choices, expresses opinions on issues and explain logical path decisions

Nice To Haves

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or Engineering
  • Experience building workshops on Foundry platform from Palantir
  • Familiar with managing version control using Git, including cloning repositories, staging changes, committing updates and resolving merge conflicts
  • Comfortable with bug tracking and enhancement request requirements documentation
  • Experience with web development
  • Familiar with continuous integration principles and application/platform deployment best practices including change control processes
  • Knowledge with Programming languages: C#, Typescript, SQL., Python
  • Potential JavaScript Frameworks: Angular (or other comparable libraries), React

Responsibilities

  • Research, compile, tabulate, and analyze data and processes for a variety of administrative and departmental matters.
  • Assist department personnel in assigned administrative, planning, organizational, technical, and professional tasks.
  • Provide suggestions or recommendations with regard to department specific projects.
  • Prepare and present reports.
  • Draft policies and procedures.
  • Respond to requests for information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
