About The Position

The IT Specialist will work in a regular, full-time (40 hours per week) position and is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the agency's technology systems, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and user support. This role serves as frontline IT support and collaborates with third-party vendors and contractors supporting IT operations. The IT Specialist is expected to perform with independence, demonstrate initiative, and find proactive solutions. The individual in this role should demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills, intermediate project participation experience, and a working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. Shall be effective and experienced in multiple facets of Information Technology, detail-oriented, and able to effectively work as part of a team and individually. The IT technician should have a proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity with a focus on end user support and help desk responsibilities. They will assist with the maintenance of secure, efficient IT systems and provide proactive solutions that align with organizational needs. Regular and consistent punctuality and attendance are required for success in this role.
