Requirements

Hands-on experience with PC setup and hardware troubleshooting is required.
Strong communication skills for vendor and staff interaction.
Ability to terminate and test network cabling.
Must be able to provide everyday on-site coverage, estimated at approximately 20 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

Degree or secondary education in related field is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Review and resolve morning emails and help desk requests immediately upon arrival.
Configure new PCs, maintain phone systems, and troubleshoot peripherals (printers, handheld devices, speakers, etc).
Perform physical cabling tasks (punch down & testing), review maintenance logs, and deploy software patches.
Act as the liaison for software vendors, provide basic computer training to staff, and keep internal documentation up-to-date.
Support the IT function by performing additional duties, as needed.
