About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team. This individual will work primarily within the Microsoft development stack, using Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, ASP.NET Core MVC, React, and ASP.NET Web API to build and maintain modern web applications. The developer will contribute to both large-scale project initiatives and smaller enhancements, as well as support operational needs through ServiceNow ticket resolution. The ideal candidate is self-driven, prompt, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, and ASP.NET Web API.
  • Experience building front-end solutions with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Core.
  • Knowledge of Git-based version control systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks including project work, change requests, and operational support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Understanding of cloud concepts, particularly in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, MSTest, Jest) and automated testing approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using: ASP.NET Core MVC React ASP.NET Web API C# and related Microsoft technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including design, coding, unit testing, documentation, and deployment.
  • Work on a mix of larger enterprise projects, enhancement requests, and smaller change requests.
  • Respond to and resolve ServiceNow tickets, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Follow development best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and system configurations.
  • Stay current with new technologies and development tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
