Requirements

  • Bachelor of Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, OR equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Understanding of business analysis and quality assurance approaches and processes
  • Systems life cycle experience, including requirements analysis, design, build, test, and deploy
  • Familiarity with project management practices and methodologies
  • Change management experience
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, strong written and oral communication skills, strong documentation skills, and strong customer service orientation
  • Competency in the support of:
  • Experience in technology consulting, requirements gathering, and documenting business process flows
  • Technical proficiency across various IT domains
  • Google G-suite applications
  • Mac and Windows operating systems (OS) and management applications

Responsibilities

  • Bring expertise to advise on innovative IT solutions that maximize business value and meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Athletics teams to validate business cases and guide them in selecting the best technology solutions
  • Take the lead in designing, testing, and deploying cutting-edge IT solutions.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Athletics staff and central IT to ensure the implementation of solutions that meet organizational needs
  • Work as a member of the Athletics IT Team, coordinating and reviewing Athletics software and ensuring compliance with University standards
  • Serve as an internal consultant supporting a diverse range of specific Athletic systems, including Sports Performance and team-specific systems, seeking ways to leverage University-level processes and successfully deliver on behalf of Athletics
