Job Summary: The Facilities and IT Solutions Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects that enhance Valir PACE’s physical environments and technology infrastructure. This role plays a key operational support function in new site development, renovations, equipment deployment, and ongoing facilities and IT system support. Working closely with internal leaders, clinical and operational teams, vendors, and technical partners, this position helps ensure projects and initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. While this role is not expected to function as a technical expert, it serves as a critical coordinator and liaison to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and sustainably. This position contributes directly to Valir’s mission by supporting safe, efficient, and participant-centered care environments.

Requirements

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project coordination, facilities support, IT support, or administrative operations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Planner, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and follow-through abilities.
  • Strong administrative and documentation skills.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facilities, IT support, or related operational roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure or facility development projects.
  • Familiarity with work order systems, CMMS platforms, or IT ticketing systems.
  • Experience supporting multiple software and operational systems.
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems, managed print services, and basic networking equipment.
  • Technical or trade certification preferred.
  • Prior healthcare or regulated environment experience is a plus.
