Requirements

  • A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, technologies, and business processes quickly
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to translate business and operational needs into practical technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, data flow and automation
  • Experience supporting multiple departments, business functions, or diverse operational needs
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and shift focus based on organizational needs
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, adaptability, and follow-through
  • Ability to build trust and effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, data flow and automation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with process improvement, business analysis, or systems implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems and technical support across multiple departments based on organizational needs and priorities.
  • Partner with departments such as Finance, Events, Marketing, Development, and others to understand business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Quickly learn new business processes, systems and workflows to provide effective support in unfamiliar areas.
  • Serve as a flexible resource for projects, initiatives and operational needs that do not have a dedicated Solutions Specialist.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work and improve the way teams use technology.
  • Develop broad organizational knowledge and system expertise.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce configurations, automations, workflows, reports and dashboards across multiple functional areas.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable system configurations and technical solutions.
  • Ensure data is accurate, consistent and appropriately managed across systems.
  • Support the implementation, testing and ongoing maintenance of new systems and technologies.
  • Collaborate with technical team members to ensure solutions are stable, scalable and sustainable.
  • Support data cleanup, migration, reporting and other CRM initiatives as organizational needs arise.
  • Develop an understanding of how data flows across departments and systems.
  • Serve as a temporary or supplemental IT/systems partner to departments that do not have a dedicated Solutions Specialist.
  • Participate in departmental planning and project meetings to understand upcoming system needs and identify technical requirements.
  • Support time-sensitive initiatives and organizational priorities that require additional Solutions Specialist capacity.
  • Investigate system issues and determine root causes rather than relying on workarounds.
  • Troubleshoot problems across applications, automations, data, and business processes.
  • Discern when to solve an issue independently and when to involve other team members.
  • Balance competing priorities of varying urgencies across multiple departments while maintaining strong follow-through.
  • Bring an ownership mindset to problems, seeing issues through to resolution rather than simply passing them along.
  • Document system configurations, workflows, automations, integrations and business processes.
  • Maintain clear documentation that enables other Solutions Specialists to understand and support solutions.
  • Follow and reinforce IT governance standards for system changes, data management and automation development.
  • Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, scalability and user experience.
  • Build repeatable solutions and processes that can eventually be transitioned to dedicated department Solutions Specialists.
