About The Position

Micron Technology’s Enterprise Product team is seeking an IT Solutions Architect to work in a fast-paced, agile environment alongside business and IT team members. Based in Boise, Idaho, the role focuses on Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions and enterprise product data. The architect will help define PLM strategy and roadmaps, establish software standards, align solutions across project teams, and deliver Teamcenter designs and implementations. The role also covers complex BOM needs, change management, data migration, system cutover, and launch activities for large implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience as an IT Solution Architect, with a passion for PLM solutions.
• Hands-on experience delivering at least three medium-to-large Siemens Teamcenter implementations, with responsibility across design, configuration, and deployment.
• Strong expertise in BOM concepts, structures, and standard BOM methodologies, applied to sophisticated enterprise PLM use cases.
• Experience with Teamcenter Change Management, including change objects, workflows, approvals, and governance, and assessing and managing impacts on downstream systems such as ERP, MES, integrations, and reporting.
• Experience working closely with business customers to understand requirements, architect scalable solutions, and present solution designs and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of Teamcenter configuration using BMIDE and experience implementing and supporting Active Workspace-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter customization and extension, including ITK (C/C++), SOA services, and Active Workspace customization.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with ERP systems such as SAP using T4S and/or T4EA frameworks.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD authoring tools such as SolidWorks, Cadence, or Mentor to support end-to-end product data flow.
• Understanding of Semiconductor Product Lifecycle Management (SLCM), including how PLM capabilities support semiconductor manufacturing and engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with PLM and Enterprise Product solution leadership to define strategy and roadmaps.
• Define software standards across Teamcenter PLM solutions and collaborate closely with business team members.
• Collaborate with external IT teams to align solution architecture across several project teams.
• Deliver designs, mock-ups, and software solutions based on the Siemens PLM Teamcenter application.
• Design, implement, and support PLM solutions involving multiple BOM types, including BOI, BOP, and BOE, aligned with business and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead and support data migration, system cutover, and launch activities for large Teamcenter implementations, coordinating with multifunctional IT and business teams.
