About The Position

Keller is seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect D365 Finance & Operations to be based in the US. This role is responsible for the end-to-end architecture, design, governance, and optimization of Keller’s global ERP platform, which supports Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Operations. The position ensures that D365 F&O solutions are standardized, scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with Keller’s global business processes, while also facilitating efficient integration with D365 CE, Power Platform, Azure, and other enterprise systems. The Solution Architect will serve as a strategic link between business, IT, and system integrators, providing leadership in the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of Keller’s ERP ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in ERP delivery with 5+ years in D365 F&O architecture roles.
  • Proven experience leading global ERP systems (multi-country, multi-currency).
  • Strong knowledge of Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets).
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Project Operations (project accounting, cost management).
  • Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture (AOS, LCS, environments).
  • Strong understanding of data entities, data management, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Azure platform and integration services.
  • Strong understanding of reporting and analytics architecture.
  • Strong understanding of ISV ecosystem (e.g., ExFlow, Kyriba).
  • Experience supporting SOX / ITGC compliance.
  • Experience supporting audit and control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL service management.
  • Familiarity with DevOps / ALM best practices.
  • Experience producing audit-ready documentation and evidence.
  • Strong stakeholder management across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence business and IT leadership.
  • Proven experience managing system integrators and vendors.
  • Strong decision-making and governance leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft certifications: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Expert, Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant, Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert.
  • Experience in construction / engineering / project-based industries (Keller-relevant).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft FastTrack program.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for D365 F&O across Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets), Supply Chain (Procurement, Inventory, Logistics), and Project Operations / Project Accounting.
  • Define Keller’s global ERP solution blueprint, architecture principles, and design standards.
  • Lead fit-gap analysis, prioritizing standard functionality and minimizing customization.
  • Ensure solution scalability, performance, and global consistency.
  • Govern extensions, integrations, data entities, and reporting architecture.
  • Establish and enforce architecture governance and design authority processes.
  • Lead or participate in ERP Design Authority / Architecture Review Board.
  • Maintain global template integrity with controlled regional localization.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security and data governance policies, and SOX / ITGC control requirements.
  • Drive reduction of customizations and technical debt.
  • Partner with Keller ERP delivery teams, IT services, and third-party partners to operate, maintain, and support D365 FO Global ERP systems.
  • Oversee and approve functional and technical design documents, data migration and cutover strategy, integration architecture, test strategy (SIT, UAT, performance testing), and deployment and release plans.
  • Act as the final design authority on solution decisions.
  • Manage and guide system integrators and delivery partners.
  • Partner with Keller IT D365 CE, Cloud, Security, Data Service to define and govern integration architecture between D365 F&O and D365 CE (Sales, Customer Service), Treasury (e.g., Kyriba), AP Automation (e.g., ExFlow), HR/Payroll systems (e.g., ADP), and Project and operational systems.
  • Leverage Azure Integration Services / iPaaS (Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIs).
  • Ensure integration patterns are secure, resilient, scalable, and auditable.
  • Align with enterprise data and integration standards.
  • Define ERP data architecture, data entities, and data management framework.
  • Establish governance for Financial master data (chart of accounts, legal entities), Vendor and customer data, and Inventory and product master.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and lifecycle management.
  • Support enterprise data and analytics initiatives (Power BI / Fabric).
  • Oversee role-based security model (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD) using tools such as Fastpath, and Identity integration with Azure AD.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX / ITGC controls, and audit documentation and evidence readiness.
  • Maintain audit-ready architecture, designs, and control mappings.
  • Establish ALM practices leveraging Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps, including code management and deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure controlled release management, versioning, and rollback planning.
  • Support One Version strategy and continuous updates.
  • Define and ensure adherence to performance benchmarks, scalability requirements, and transaction throughput expectations.
  • Establish and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy and RPO / RTO alignment with Microsoft SLAs.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities, cost optimization (licenses, environments, infrastructure), and system simplification and technical debt reduction.
  • Define ERP platform roadmap and future state architecture.
  • Support innovation via Power Platform, analytics, and AI capabilities.
  • Partner with Keller IT Division Business Solution Managers to engage with Global Finance, Supply Chain, Project Operations leaders, Regional business units, and IT leadership and architecture boards.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities, cost optimization (licenses, environments, infrastructure), and system simplification and technical debt reduction.
  • Define ERP platform roadmap and future state architecture.
  • Support innovation via Power Platform, analytics, and AI capabilities.
