About The Position
SunSoftOnline is seeking an IT Procurement Analyst specializing in Software & SaaS Management for an Arizona state agency's technology division. This is a 1-year contract-to-hire role with the goal of conversion to permanent state employment. The role involves an exceptional schedule: 3-4 weeks of onsite training in Phoenix, followed by a hybrid arrangement of 4 days per week remote. The primary focus is on software procurement, including overseeing a growing software portfolio, leading end-to-end software acquisitions, contract renewals, license optimization, and software vendor negotiations. The analyst will evaluate IT vendors and contracts, including RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs, research and recommend supplier selections, support negotiations, and collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, and InfoSec on cost-efficiency, compliance, and SaaS operations. The portfolio includes software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, hardware, telecommunications, and managed services, with software licensing and renewals as the core responsibility.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of IT software procurement experience
- Experience with software procurement, SaaS, license management, renewals, vendor negotiation, RFP/RFQ/RFI, ERP
- U.S. citizen or green card holder
- Phoenix metro residents only
