Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or directly related major or relevant level of related work experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of recent work experience with Windows Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, Office 365 and Teams services.
  • A high level of independent thinking and the ability to solve problems in a busy environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to work comfortably within strict operational boundaries and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach
  • Qualified candidate must be a US Person.
  • Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience maintaining high service levels in a high availability environment.
  • Basic analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of SCCM & PowerShell scripting (strongly preferred)
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy. (strongly preferred)
  • ITIL experience (strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of networking and manufacturing production (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Record and resolve service desk queries either over the telephone or via remote control of the equipment within SLA targets.
  • Day-to-day monitoring and updating the Global Service Desk ITSM system, including escalation of tickets where necessary to Senior Analysts, or other IT teams.
  • Set-up and installation of new PC hardware/software, using departmental procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate with other technology teams globally to resolve network and systems issues impacting business.
  • Raise incident notifications and work on restoration of services.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, changes, and production documentation.
  • Closely work with the Engineering, Manufacturing Production and Implementation teams.
  • Participate in on call coverage and out-of-hours support as required
